Mary N. Jardine, 83, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2017. A service was held at Grace Baptist Church in Paso Robles on May 17, 2017. Mary was born December 12, 1933 in New Mexico and came out to California in the late 1950’s. Settling in Paso Robles she was a telephone operator. Then she worked for the Ag Statistic Service for 47 years and had a country store on the west side of Paso Robles known for selling local almonds, walnuts, pistachios and honey. Mary N. Jardine, 83, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2017. A service was held at Grace Baptist Church in Paso Robles on May 17, 2017. Mary was born December 12, 1933 in New Mexico and came out to California in the late 1950’s. Settling in Paso Robles she was a telephone operator. Then she worked for the Ag Statistic Service for 47 years and had a country store on the west side of Paso Robles known for selling local almonds, walnuts, pistachios and honey. Later it grew into a larger business selling more products, gift baskets and expanded into charcoal and wood sales. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jardine. Mary is survived by her sisters, Joan Heddlesten of Satanta, Kansas and Jonni Jameson of Silver City, New Mexico, daughter Linda Black and husband Jim of Paso Robles, son Duane Jardine of Paso Robles, son Rocky Jardine of Kona, HI and son Bob James and wife Renee of Fresno. Mary had five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was always there for anyone who needed her.
